Welcome To CMR
We are an outpatient rehabilitation clinic that provides orthopedic and manual based therapy to clients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. We provide rehab for sports related injuries. We also treat clients with chronic pain related to injuries, stroke and arthritis. Our goals are to: decrease pain, improve range of motion, improve strength and stability return clients to their previous level ofactivity.
Our Approach
Treatment is unique to each individual's needs. Each patient is thoroughly evaluated and a plan of care specific to the patient is designated by out physical therapist. Treatment consists of a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, muscle strengthening and modalities such as electrical stimulation or untrasound and a home exercise program to compliment the skilled services. The treatment will be revised as endurance, strength, tolerance and progression occurs.

What is Physical Therapy?
Physical therapist's assist Clients in regaining or improving mobility and strength, reducing pain and restoring functional abilities. They are trained to treat clients of all ages and a variety of diagnoses. Physical therapy utilizes therapeutic exercises, muscle strengthening and endurance training modalities and manual therapy to promote recovery from several conditions. Orthopedic Problems, Joint Replacements, Sports Injuries, Stroke, Back, Shoulder, Neck, Knee or ankle pain, Cardiac conditions, as well as burns and wounds. Aquatic Therapy also promotes recovery for patients that can't tolerate land based therapy

The staff of Central Michigan Rehabilitation is highly qualified and educated to meet the needs of each patient. CMR will treat the condition, educate the patient on the condition as well as the treatment that will be provided. CMR is a manual based clinic which allows for hands-on treatment for each patient. The staff of CMR provides physical, massage, occupational, speech, aquatic and in-home therapies. CMR specializes in orthopedics,musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine and neurological (stroke) rehab. CMR also provides services for conditions such as arthritis, overuse injuries, back, neck, knee and hip pain, chronic or acute musculoskeletal pain and postoperative rehabilitation. CMR treats strains/sprains, tendonitis, sports related injuries, bursitis, foot and ankle pain, gait deviations, balance disorders, TMJ Dysfunction and auto and workmen's comp related
Other Services
CMR also offers other services to help you achieve overall health and fitness. We offer massage therapy,Yoga classes, and golf clinics on a regular basis. Other specialized seminars and clinics are offered at various times.

We cooperate with most major health insurance companies and offer flexible payment options to meet your needs.Please call us if you have any insurance questions we will verify your coverage with your carrier. There are thousands of insurance companies that offer medical coverage and all plans and coverage are different. Some insurers participate with more than one network. Prior to your first visit we will call to ascertain your particular insurance coverage and/or requirements. We will advise you of this information before you start physical therapy.

We also accept assignment (OUT OF NETWORK- direct payment) from most other major insurance companies: NON Assignment of Benefits Unfortunately there are a few insurance companies that WILL NOT assign benefits to us (they will pay you directly). For these insurance claims you will need to pay for your treatment up front, we will then submit your claims to your insurance company and they will reimburse you directly with any benefits.
